By now, many educators understand the value of Project Based Learning (PBL); research has shown that PBL can foster critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration among students. But we also know that every student is different. So, how inclusive is a PBL curriculum really? This presentation focuses on ways that PBL can be used in classrooms where differentiation is needed in order to accommodate individual student needs. For instance, how can PBL be used to manage IEP-related needs, or in classrooms with ESOL students--or even in a class that includes a visually impaired student?
